It’s that time of the year! The annual Crazy Horse Volksmarch is here again!

The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is the most popular organized hike in the United States (15,000 in record year).The event will take place on June 5th and 6th from 8am to 1pm.

This family event is sponsored by the American Volkssport Association’ s (AVA) Black Hills Chapter and hosted by Crazy Horse Memorial.

This is the only time each year the public may hike to the mountain carving-in-progress. Admission is Free but we suggest a donation of three cans of food per person to benefit the KOTA Care & Share Food Drive.

You’ll begins at the Lead-Deadwood High School, Lead and you’ll  end at the Deadwood Trailhead, Deadwood.
